About Us

FIM Motocamp is one of the five FIM Touring classic events, organised each year in a different country. Usually it attracts participants from about 20 different countries. All participants are camping, visiting sightseeing places, exploring the heritage of hosting country – to bring back home only the best experience. The event lasts minimum three days. Pre-registration is mandatory.

History of FIM MotocampUpon the initiative of the Federazione Motociclistica Italiana (FMI), the 1st FIM Motocamp was organised on the island of Elba in 1981 as a prelude to the International Six Days’ Enduro. The idea was to create an event parallel to the FIM Rally, reserved solely for campers, in order to relieve the burden of the organisation of the FIM Rally which was becoming more and more difficult to manage in view of its ever-increasing participation.
